This one made us think of Pierre Chareau the moment we saw it. An Art Deco armchair, circa 1930, with a stained wood frame and armrests sculpted in faceted planes.
It has the kind of detail that takes time to notice, and then you can't unsee it. The front legs are turned in a spool form, the rear legs splay slightly.
Reupholstered in powder blue mohair with matching leather piping, finished by hand in Belgium. It sits exactly as well as it looks.
Designed and made in France circa 1930.
Provenance: Private collection Paris.
Shows wear consistent with age, good vintage condition.
Overall dimensions:
Height: ± 76 cm
Width: ± 70 cm
Depth: ± 82 cm
Depending on your location, there may be additional transportation costs.
