Very rare pair of discontinued, majestic armchairs by Pierre Chapo - model S340 (1972) - It has some resemblance with the S10 model and the S15 and has the designer’s characteristic wood “interlocking” joinery that is impeccable and testifies of his woodworking mastery. Handcrafted from solid elm and cognac leather, meticulously restored to bring out the chairs' beauty, while preserving the desirable patina and evidence of age. Due to some minor imperfections, it might have been a prototype pair - nevertheless, it adds up to the mysterious aura of the armchairs.
